Since the start of the pandemic, Mid Coast Senior Health’s response to novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) has prioritized the safety of our residents, visitors and care team members. Learn more about the current COVID-19 precautions and safety measures in place at our facility on this page.
Safety Measures
In response to COVID-19, Mid Coast Senior Health continues to enforce safety measures in accordance with the most current CDC recommendations for this setting. All employees are fully vaccinated from COVID-19, and the majority of staff are up to date on their COVID-19 boosters.
Staff, Resident and Visitor Screening
Mid Coast Senior Health screens all persons entering the facility. All staff, vendors, and visitors who enter the facility must pass through health screening that consists of a temperature check, questions about COVID-19 vaccination status and potential exposure to COVID-19, and symptom monitoring. In accordance with current CDC recommendations for healthcare facilities, depending on their COVID-19 vaccination status and current community transmission rate, certain care team members, residents, and visitors may require surveillance testing upon entry.
