Lifeline 24-Hour Emergency Service

When you or someone you love needs emergency assistance, a simple press of the Lifeline button can bring help fast. Worn around the neck or wrist, the waterproof button can summon medical or fire personnel 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Coordinated by Mid Coast Senior Health Center, Mid Coast Lifeline has provided emergency response service for almost 40 years, serving thousands of Bath-Brunswick area residents ranging in age from 35 to 104.

How does Lifeline work?

When the button is pressed a signal is sent to a communicator unit in the home. Lifeline monitors respond within 90 seconds, appraise the situation, and dispatch appropriate help. This help will include medical, police or fire personnel, plus a call to a neighbor or family member if requested. The waterproof personal help button works in and around the home.

Mid Coast Lifeline provides installation, equipment rental, billing, maintenance, and deactivation of the service. Installation usually takes less than an hour. The all-inclusive monthly charge for the service is $42. Scholarships are available for those who qualify.
